Searching online for how to treat insomnia? Of course you realize there's a lot of hokey stuff out there mixed in with the facts. I mean, this is the internet, right? What needs to be fully understood when searching for how to treat such things as sleep deprivation and insomnia is the simple science behind this condition. It all boils down to understanding and affecting brainwave patterns which occur during the natural cycles of sleep.



Before we go any further here, let me stress what you may already know - drugs, whether over the counter or prescription, are just not good for you. To affect the behavior of the brain from a chemical standpoint is just asking for trouble, unless it is sorely needed, and with the ease of which insomnia can be treated otherwise, this is not the case here. They are addictive, and only have the proper effect for the first month or two, and then the dependency has taken a foothold. Such medications are not how to treat insomnia with out possible ill side effects.



Now, the brain goes through certain patterns of brainwave activity during the cycles of sleep, and these have been easily induced through isochronic tones and pulses. This is different from binaural tones, which was fairly effective, as with isochronic frequencies there is no need for stereo headphones - just try to sleep with those on, and without them falling off. These tones and pulses calm the constant chatter in the brain which can keep us awake all night, and promote the desired brainwave activities that are conducive to sleep. This is how to treat sleeplessness and insomnia in the most safest and simplest of ways.
